Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia. I think there is nothing to see for sight seeing, but some traveler visit here on the way to Yogyakarta. You can watch the economics of the Indonesia, and you can also see the problems, energy, and so many Indonesian people from thousand of islands.
正直に言うとジャカルタには特に観光スポットはありません。
ただジョグジャカルタに行くときに寄る人も多いです。ジャカルタは観光というよりインドネシアの経済や経済発展と並行して発生した社会問題、そしてインドネシアの勢いや様々な島から来たインドネシアの人々の姿を見ることができるので、社会勉強にはなると思います。

From the Airport
Trafic jam in Jakarta area is awful, you need to expect delays alltime.
When I went to Jakarta, it took 2 and half hours from Airport to the city by Airport bus.
ジャカルタの交通渋滞は東南アジア最悪レベルで、空港から街まで2時間近くかかってしまうこともあります。

So you may think it is better to take taxi, but if you were unluckey, the driver would cheat you.
You can go to police after that, but I think they says they need money to fill the document for insurance, in spite of Police.
Hence I recommend Airport bus, but before you buy ticket, you may well ask the other passanger about the fare(NOT Driver). I think it was 5,000IRP, but inflation is also massive in there.
The name of the bus is ”Damri”.
じゃあタクシー使えばいいじゃんって考えるかもしれませんが、運がないと確実に騙されます。
私も日本円で3,000円くらいとられちゃいました。バカですね。でも密室空間って怖いんです。
そのあと警察に行くことはできますが、盗難証明の書類を書いてもらうのに金が要るって言い始めます。
そのため、空港バスの利用をお勧めします。バスの名前はDamriで5,000ルピアだったと思います。
ビジネスで行く場合はたいてい会社の車が迎えに来てくれると思います。
If you wanted taxi badly, you may well get taxi ticket.
According to Japanese society in Indonesia, blue bird taxi is reliable, compared to other taxi company.
もしタクシーに乗りたいなら、タクシーチケットを取得した方がいいかもしれません。
一般的にブルーバードタクシーが良い会社と言われています。
Train Station
If you took night train, you would arrive at Jakarta Kota(Stasiun Jakarta Kota) or Gambir Station(Stasiun Gambir).
長距離列車を使う場合、おそらくガンビル駅（Stasiun Gambir）もしくはジャカルタ コタ（Jakarta Kota）に着きます。

TransJakarta
It is because enough buses are not on the road, but it is actually cheap.
There is ladies only area near to bus driver in the bus.
ジャカルタにはトランスジャカルタというガイドウェイバスシステムがあります。
ラッシュアワーにはめっちゃ混みます。供給不足なのです。
バスの中にはレディースエリアがあるので、女性の方はそちらに座ることをお勧めします。
Train
If you wanted to go suburb, for example Indonesia University(Universitas Indonesia), you can take train to there. Train is also crowded. There are two kind of train in Jakarta. One is secound hand train from Japan, and the other is the train made in Indonesia. I do not recommend to take the other one, because the doors are not able to close, sometime. It is not safety.
もしそれより郊外に行きたい場合は電車に乗ります。日本の中古とインドネシア製がありますが、インドネシア製の電車はドアが閉まらないようで、時々ドア開けっ放しで走っていて危険です。
Language
Actually, it is quite rare to see people who can speak English. I think the country has large population tend not to speak English, because their business can earn enough market size only inside of the country. You need to visit the bar, hotel, or any other for foreign traveller.
ちなみにジャカルタではあまり英語を話す人には会えません。外国人用のバーやホテルなどに行くのなら話は別ですが。
That’s why you need to adapt the environment, and speak Indonesian.
Actually, even Indonesian learn Indonesian, because they has lots of dialect as their mother language.
そのため、適応して簡単なインドネシア語を話す必要があります。
実はインドネシアの人もインドネシア語勉強しています。なぜなら方言を母語としている人がたくさんいるからです。

Hostel
I think the biggerst concern in Jakarta is bed bug.
Some place does not care their bed enough to welcome the guest.
ジャカルタで一番大きな問題はベッドの中のノミやダニだと思います。
I stayed Jalan Jaksa in Jakarta, and this place has some hostels for travellers.
I don’t think I will stay there, again, because I suffered from bed bug at there.
ジャカルタにはジャランジャクサというホステル密集地帯があります。
ただ私はそこでダニにやられてしまったので、もう行かないと思いますが…

I stay Horney Hostel when I visit Jakarta.
Some room does not have window, but thinking about bed bug, it is quite nice for me.
それいらいハニーホステルってところにずっと泊まっています。窓のない部屋もありますが、虫のことを考えればかなり良いかなって思います。

モナス
Monas is the monument located at the center of Murdeka square.
It was built to commemorate the effort of Independence.
I saw an uncle worked for Monas, abd he said he has been proudly working for it.
He could speak Japanese, and he explained about Japanese soldiers.
モナスはインドネシア独立の努力や奮闘を記念したもので、ムルデカスクエアの中心に立っています。私はこの近くでモナスで働くおじさんに会いました。彼は日本語で自分がモナスで働いていることに誇りを持っていると教えてくれました。また、日本人の兵士についても教えてくれました。
