This city welcomes lots of foreign backpackers and travelers.
That’s why there are so many hostels for foreign visitors at Yang Shuo, and they can communicate in English, compared to other city in China.
The hostels are mainly located at Xijie(西街) area.
この街には多くの外国人バックパッカーが滞在するため、中国国内の他の街に比べて英語がよく通じます。そして西街には多数のバックパッカーホステルや宿泊施設が存在します。

What you can do
You can do rock climing, cycling, hiking, and so on. I have not tried active things. I just enjoy the landscape as long as I satisfied. You can also go to some other village.

Access
There is no train station at YangShuo, but you can go to Guilin by train and change to the bus to YangShuo at Guilin city. You need to walk from train station to Guilin bus terminal on 中山中路(Zhong Shan middle Road).
陽朔には鉄道駅がないので、もし鉄道で行くとしたら、桂林まで行き、そこからバスにのります。
バスには中山中路にある桂林バスターミナルから乗ることができます。
In my case, I went to Guilin(桂林) from Nanning(南寧) by train, and then walked down the street and took bus from Guilin bus terminal to YangShuo west bus terminal.
私の場合は、南寧から鉄道に乗って桂林まで行き、桂林の街をバスターミナルまで歩いてから、バスで陽朔まで来ました。
I think the taxi driver or the other offers are so annoying when you arrive at bus terminal at YangShuo, but we can take public bus(1 or 2RMB) to Xijie, and we can find the hostels at there.
陽朔のバスターミナルに着いた時、客引きがいろいろ来て大変ですが、実はバスターミナルから西街まで、公共バスに乗れます。西街にはたくさんホステルがあるので、そこでホステルを探した方がいいかもしれません。
Bus

The bus from Guilin, GuangZhou, Shenzhen, Nanning, and the other cities are available.
When I purchased the ticket at hostel, and went to GuanZhou, the bus is actually head to Shenzhen.
I should decided to the place to get off at GuanZhou, and it is actually the in front of the toll gate of the express way. 2 taxies and 3 illegal taxies were waiting for us, and if all taxi were gone, you do not have choice and should take illegal one or catch the other taxi in early morning.
So I recommend you to go to bus terminal and choose direct bus to your destination.
バスは桂林や南寧をはじめ、広東省の各都市へ出ています。
以前ホステルでバスのチケットを買って広州へ行こうとしましたが、乗るバスは深圳行で、広州の途中で降車するところを選ぶ必要がありました。広州には早朝5時に到着し、降車先も高速道路の入り口で、そこにタクシーや白タクがたくさん来ているような感じでした。
もし中国語が話せない場合、みんなそうですが、地理に疎い場合、バスターミナルに行って直行のバスに乗った方がいいと思われます。
